About this product

When you order our Luxury Chicken Bites we will send you a box containing  2.5 kilograms (minimum weight) of our deep frozen bites. Our luxury chicken bites are small pieces of battered chicken breast chunks that have been coated in a batter made from flour, eggs, and seasonings. The chicken is typically cut into bite-size chunks and then coated in the batter before being deep-fried. The result is a crispy and flavorful dish that is popular as a snack or as part of a main course. The seasoning used in the batter can vary, but it is usually a combination of herbs and spices such as salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Some recipes also include ingredients such as breadcrumbs or cornmeal to give the batter a crunchy texture.

The method of preparation for battered chicken chunks typically involves marinating the chicken in a mixture of ingredients such as buttermilk, hot sauce and lemon juice for a period of time. Then it’s mixed with the prepared batter and deep-fried until golden brown and crispy. Once it’s cooked it can be served with a variety of dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, BBQ sauce or sweet chili sauce.

Preperation

  1. Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep-fryer or large, deep pot over medium-high heat until it reaches 365 to 375 degrees F.
  2. Carefully add the chicken chunks to the hot oil and fry them for about 4 to 5 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Use a slotted spoon to remove the chicken chunks from the oil and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate.
  4. Once the chicken chunks are drained of the excess oil, serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

You can also oven-fry the chicken chunks if you want to avoid deep-frying, by coating them with flour mixture and then placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the chicken chunks at 425 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

It’s worth noting that the marination time in buttermilk and the seasoning of the flour mixture can vary depending on personal preference, but the method of coating the chicken chunks in the batter and deep-frying them remains the same.
